90 planes would penetrate Syrian and Turkish airspace undetected by radar…
Iranian Minister of Defence warns: our forces are prepared to strike Israeli arms factories and nuclear plants.

It was reported yesterday, Wednesday, that Iranian Defence Minister Ahmed Wahidi made a statement to the effect that if the Jewish state were to attack the Islamic Republic’s nuclear sites, Tehran would respond by striking Israeli arms factories and nuclear plants. Israel did not rule out military action if diplomacy failed to solve the international dispute over Iran’s nuclear programme, which the West suspects is aimed at developing weapons. Iran denies the claim and asserts that it would respond if attacked.

The semi-official Mahr news agency mentioned that Wahidi addressed reporters during a visit to Syria, saying: “The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran are fully prepared.”

He added that if Israel attacked, Iran’s first targets would include numerous arms manufacturing plants and ‘non-conventional nuclear sites.’
These statements come at a time when high ranking American sources have revealed a comprehensive Israeli plan to strike Iran’s nuclear sites. Strategic affairs analyst, Reuven Pedatzur, stated in Haaretz that two American researchers have published a study conducted at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies in Washington D.C., highlighting the fact that this is the first time a study such as this has been openly published in this fashion.

Because Iran is rich in nuclear sites, the researchers focused on the possibility of directing an attack upon only one third of the sites, which effectively form the core of the nuclear project in the Islamic Republic, stressing that striking these plants would delay the nuclear programme by many years.

The three proposed centres are: Isfahan, Natanz and Barak. The American study also touches upon the best flight paths to reach Iran, concluding that the northern route would be the best, passing over the Syrian-Turkish border and via Iraq, before finally reaching Iran. The central path, which is the shortest, would pass over Jordan, but is one that would be avoided by decision makers in Tel Aviv out of fear of a crisis with the Hashemite Kingdom, as well as with Saudi Arabia and Iraq.

The study points out that in order to conceal the aircraft on their way to strike the Iranian nuclear plants, the Israeli Air Force would use highly advanced techniques and technologies, capable of jamming Iranian radar signals, as well as in those countries over which the fleet of F-15s and F-16s would pass, effectively concealing all presence of the aircraft, despite dozens of craft passing through the countries’ airspace. According to the researchers, the Hebrew state employed this method when its air force struck a site in Deir ez-Zor, Syria in September 2007.
According to the American study, striking the three Iranian plants would require around 90 fighter planes, in addition to the Israeli Israeli Air Force’s entire fleet of refuelling aircraft: five Hercules planes and four Boeing 707s.
The study points out that the fighters would require refuelling on the way
to Iran, as well as on the return journey after carrying out the attack.

Turkey has just recently declared it will not permit Israeli planes overflight. Arabia is the lynchpin. As for US, if the Likudnikis follow through with their plans, the sh*t will hit the fan. We have heard there is a Russian statement of intent on declaring war on US if nuclear weapons are used against Iran. Since Russia's missiles only provide beautiful airshows in the night sky, America is safe. Carry on Yahooti! We love a good show.

To paraphrase Mike Rivero, "the best way to get a dog to stop chasing cars is let him catch one." Iran is no Gaza. China might remain neutral but Russia certainly won't. This would quickly devolve into a global disaster, and Tel Aviv must be fully aware of the consequences. Logic tells me this is a sloppy political maneuver to keep the frothing war mongers happy. They're the ones who put Bibi in charge, right? Peace, R.M.
