Notice this was written from the safety of Minnesota – hardly the front line. Fundamentalists of either side who sit back and pontificate from a distance are the primary obstacle to achieving peace in the Middle East, of which this rant is a prime example. No doubt there is similar venom equally emanating from the Palestinian side. There will never be peace until such divisive attitudes are moderated and the root causes of fundamentalism eliminated.
