The de facto Gaza government’s Ministry of Health warned of a severe shortage of medicine, resulting from the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip, it was announced on Wednesday.
Munir Al-Barsh, the general director of pharmacology for the Gaza Ministry of Health, stated that “among the medicines that have run out include the ones used for the artificial kidney unit, surgeries and other needed medicines.”
“There are 10 kinds of medication that could only cover three months; another 26 kinds that could cover two months, and 29 types that will only cover one month,” he added.
The Ministry of Health urged support for patients in Gaza by allowing all the necessary medicines and medical supplies into Gaza, whose health continues to deteriorate under the Israeli blockade.
Since Hamas’ takeover in 2007 , Israel has intermittently opened Gaza’s borders leading to the limited entry of vital supplies of food, fuel and medicine.

Israel steals Palestinian water, expands illegal settlements on Palestinian land, destroys Palestinian agriculture and blocks the Gaza Strip from getting supplies which will aid those still suffering from the last massacre committed by Israel dubbed ‘Operation Cast Lead’ – which caused over 1,400 innocent men, women and children to die.
Though Israel has seemingly left Gaza the illegal Zionist entity still has its iron fist around the 2 mile strip: not even books are allowed inside Gaza.
Yet Israel is the victim and the Palestinians are the ‘terrorists’, right?
